Aignosis Raises ₹4 Crore for Webcam-Based AI Autism Screening in Children

The Jaipur startup has done 8,000+ screenings, works in 20+ government PHCs in Rajasthan and targets one lakh screenings by FY27.
Jaipur-based healthtech startup Aignosis has raised ₹4 crore in a seed round led by Antler, Nikhil Kamath and angel investors including Varun Dua and IIMA Ventures.
How the screening works
Aignosis has built an AI platform to screen children aged 16 months to nine years for autism and developmental conditions using a regular laptop and webcam. Computer vision analyses the child's gaze, response to their name and facial expressions to generate a risk assessment — not a diagnosis — through a "clinic-in-clinic" model inside paediatric practices.
Reach so far
The company has completed more than 8,000 screenings and is deployed in over 20 government primary health centres in Rajasthan. It has run screening camps with Mankind Pharma and plans to work with Apollo Shines in about 125 schools.
Aignosis aims to cross 1,00,000 screenings by the end of FY27 and expand to Punjab, NCR, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Co-founder Raksheet Jain said the funding marks the move from validating the technology to taking it into the health system at scale.
