Prodoc AI Raises Seed Funding to Build an "Intelligence Layer" for Indian Hospitals

Led by Dr. A. Velumani's family office, the round will fund agentic AI for patient journeys; the platform already runs in 100+ hospitals.
Bengaluru-based healthcare AI startup Prodoc AI has raised an undisclosed seed round led by the family office of Dr. A. Velumani, founder of Thyrocare. Dr. Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin, both existing users of the platform, also invested.
The product
Prodoc AI's Patient Journey OS sits on top of a hospital's existing systems rather than replacing them. It covers patient acquisition, appointment conversion, OPD intelligence, care coordination, follow-ups, referral management and voice AI.
The company says it works with more than 100 hospitals, handles over one million patient engagements a month and supports 50+ software integrations.
Plans
The funds will go into agentic AI capabilities, more integrations, and AI agents for care coordination, patient engagement, operations and revenue workflows. Co-founder and CEO Asit Kumar Vidyarthi said the goal is to help hospitals move from collecting data to taking meaningful action for every patient. Raghuvamshi Thakur is the co-founder and COO.
